Delete your account & data
Applies to the Manya Matrimony website and mobile app (developed by Asha Webtech IT Solution Private Limited).
Option 1 — delete it inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Manya Matrimony app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
- Your profile and photos are hidden from all other members immediately and you are signed out of every device.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
Email info@manyamatrimony.com from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my account” and include your profile ID (for example MM20260123). We verify the request and complete the deletion within 7 working days.

What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and password.
- Your profile details — photos, about me, family, education, career, horoscope and partner preferences.
- Your interests, shortlists, chat messages, profile views and notifications.
- Your login sessions and app tokens (revoked immediately).
Your profile stops being visible to other members immediately. Personal data is permanently erased or anonymised within 30 days.
What we keep, and why
- Payment and invoice records — retained in anonymised form for up to 8 years because Indian tax and accounting law requires it.
- Safety records — where an account was removed for a policy or child-safety violation, we keep the minimum record needed to prevent the person from re-registering and to comply with legal obligations.
Deleting your account cancels access to any active membership plan. Refunds, if any, follow our Refund Policy.
